Bio:
Dr. Kuan-Chuan Peng is an IEEE Senior Member and a Principal Research Scientist at Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs (MERL) in Cambridge, MA. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University in 2016. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Computer Science from National Taiwan University in 2009 and 2012 respectively. His expertise includes domain adaptation, anomaly detection, attention modeling, and fundamental computer vision and machine learning problems. He co-organized the following events:

(1) 2023 Workshop on Vision-and-Language Algorithmic Reasoning in conjunction with ICCV 2023.

(2) 2022 Workshop on Artificial Intelligence with Biased or Scarce Data in conjunction with AAAI 2022.

(3) 2022 Workshop on Vision with Biased or Scarce Data in conjunction with ECCV 2022.

Dr. Abhishek Aich is a Researcher at NEC Laboratories, America in San Jose, CA. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California, Riverside in 2023. He received his M.S. from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2018. He received a B.S. degree from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, India in 2015. His expertise includes the following problems with or without the data scarcity constraint: dynamic networks, adversarial attacks, video anomaly detection, object or person re-identification.

Bio:
Dr. Ziyan Wu is an IEEE Senior Member and a Sr. Director of Vision and Robotics at UII America, Inc. in Cambridge, MA. He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy in 2014. He received a B.S. degree and an M.S. degree in Measurement Technology and Instruments, both from Beihang University in China in 2006 and 2009. He was affiliated with the DHS Center of Excellence on Explosives Detection, Mitigation and Response (ALERT). His research interests include 3D object recognition, scene understanding, video surveillance, deep learning and augmented reality. He co-organized the following events:
